MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
VISA FEES:
PHP 1500 (single entry for 30 days)
PHP 2300 (single entry for 60 days)
PROCESSING TIME:
two weeks waiting for approval
2 to 3 days for the stamp once approved
If you will be coming as a volunteer under an organization or if you will be shouldered by a host, the Egyptian embassy has to get approval from Cairo. They may or may not ask for additional requirements. Always call them for updates.
The embassy does not recommend buying the plane ticket in advance as there would be a higher chance for you not to be approved than to be approved; but if you follow my tips and advice, then you would have more probability to get your visa. I wish you the best of luck!
If you have other questions, kindly contact the embassy. Consular hours are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays except during Philippine and Egyptian holidays.

If you don't have a tour guide in Egypt yet contact

Karim is my Egyptian friend and our reliable tour guide during my 45-day exploration in Egypt from February 1 to March 17, 2018. He has good reputation and is tied up with other Egyptian universities. He gave us good accommodation and brought us to the most wonderful sight-seeing spots in Egypt. He also has recommended us local shops where we can buy items at the cheapest prices. It is better if you will book directly with an Egyptian agency than Philippine agency as Egyptians know better which places are the best to visit.
